Ladies Leagues - Fall 2025

Wreckhouse is excited to host four divisions of leagues for women in Fall 2025. Each division will be on a separate night of the week and all teams will get 2 back to back matches per week (2 straight sets). During playoffs, teams will play best 2/3 sets.

Divisions

Beginner League

This league is intended for players who are new to volleyball or have not played in many years. The major difference in rules for this league is that players can substitute out after they serve to give everyone more of an opportunity to try out positions and to get more playing time. If you don't know what position you play, or you haven't played that position in a long time, this league might be the best fit for you!

B1 League

This league is intended for highly competitive teams. Athletes range from former varsity athletes at the college or university level, to starters on their high school teams for more recent grads and some players are seasoned veterans of the game and have honed their skill for many years.

B2/B3 League

This league is for those who are familiar with rules, tactics and technical skills needed to play volleyball. Players likely have a set position they are used to playing and likely use a 5-1 or 4-2 rotation. This league would be a good fit for anyone who has played consistently in a league at the B level for the past few years.

C League

This league is for players who have been away from the game for a number of years or those who are looking for a less competitive environment than would be ideal in the B leagues. Players who don't take themselves too seriously and love the game of volleyball are a great fit for this division.

Details:

Beginner League - Sundays, 7-10PM, starting September 7 (running for 14 weeks until December 14 - except October 12) ($1400 or $140/person if entering as an individual) - 8 teams
B2/B3 League - Tuesdays, 6-10PM, starting September 9, ending December 16) ($1500 or $150/person if entering as an individual) - 12 teams
C League - Wednesdays, 6-10PM, starting September 10, ending December 17 ($1500 or $150/person if entering as an individual) - 12 teams
B1 League - Thursdays - 6-10PM, starting September 11, ending December 18 ($1500 or $150/person if entering as an individual) - 12 teams

Rules:
Teams will be guaranteed two matches per night for 15 weeks (T/W/R) and 14 weeks (Sundays). The league will start at 6:00PM (T/W/R) and 7:00PM on Sundays at The Courthouse. Warm-up will be 2-4-4 (4 minutes per team) 3 minutes to hit and 1 minute to serve. TEAMS ARE ONLY PERMITTED ONE WARM-UP PER NIGHT.

Please ensure that your team has enough players each week as the league is dependent on the teams registered to operate. All matches will be 2 straight sets to 25 (cap 27). Play-offs will be the best 2/3 sets to 25 points (NO CAP) and a third set to 15 (NO CAP). Volleyball Canada Senior Rules will be used with two time-outs per set and 6 limited subs (T/W/R) and on Sundays, teams have the option to sub in a new person in position 6 each time a new person on the team goes back to serve. Libero is permitted. There will be no games on October 12 for Thanksgiving Day.
